Don’t give up your dreams, don’t discard your memories, just be present.  Be reminded that your life is happening right now, so water the grass that you are standing on.  

Who knew that Proverbs 17:17 would be so true in such a beautiful way - a friend really does love at all times, and a brother really is born for a time of adversity, even if the friend - more accurately a brother - named Henry, was so unexpected.  

I just took a deep breath of the salty air, and riding on my exhale were the words to my wife, "I don't think they know how fast those days are going to go by."

We never know when the last chance will be, so don't gamble and just go the extra step to be sure.

The confines of a brushed in duck blind was exactly what I needed to take a breath, and a moment away from the demands of everyday life.
